X3 is the 13th version of Corel's popular word processing program.
Whether you're using WordPerfect for the first time, or have been
using it for years, this one-level course will help you make the
most of WordPerfect X3's exciting features..
Highlights of the course include a discussion of styles, QuickFormat,
tables, and mail merge.
Detailed Course Outline
Word Processing Basics
To begin, we will learn how to create,
open, save, and close a basic document.
Participants will also learn how to use
selection tools; cut, copy, and paste;
spell check; and zoom.
Formatting a Document
This section will focus on formatting
tasks, including changing the font size,
type, and color; applying effects to
text; using QuickFormat; using styles;
applying hyphenation automatically;
using breaks; changing spacing; creating
bulleted and numbered lists; adding
borders to paragraphs; using tabs;
adding headers and footers; and changing
page properties.
Advanced Document Tasks
In this section, participants will learn
how to add tables and images to their
document. They will also learn how to
use mail merge and print their
documents. |
